RE: BillMax questions -- Slow Account Load Issues/Removing ClosedServices
Personally I'd move the service to an account/user specifically intended
to hold dead services.
Intermittently, when you want to truly prune them, you can run
billmax-admin delete (read the man/doc page for options) on the holding
account. You probably want to make sure your backups are good, because
otherwise billmax-admin delete is forever.
billmax-admin delete will pretty much delete everything associated with
what you delete, and aside from a healthy backup, there is no reversal.
There is a dry run mode though, to see what it will do.
I think you can delete individual services too, but I can never trust
humans to really know what they want. To that end I find it safer to
set records to the side for at least a few days. That way if someone
barks about missing data, it is easier to recover.
