Hello,
I am working on setting up customer
self-registration.
When I started using billmax, I only had one pop
region.
I now resell dialup that has numbers all
over the United States.
How would I go about configuring the "Phone number
to dial" when I have thousands of pops/numbers?
I can get a list of all available pops/numbers, but
I am not sure that the phone number the customer would be dialing is
relevant to account creation. (Offering a "nationwide" plan, so depending on the
location of the user when they dial, they can pick any number that is
local)
Should I just enter a generic number for the
"nationwide" plan so that they can pick either my main pop number or the generic
one if they are outside of my local pop region?
I don't really need what number they dial...just
whether they are in one of 2 pop regions. Either the "local" or "nationwide" pop
region.
Anyone out there care to share how you configured
customer self-registration with thousands of numbers/pops?
Thanks!
Curt
