BillMax questions -- Service with negative recurring amount?
This is somewhat related to the question I posted earlier.
We are trying to bundle several services with differing resource bits.
Creating one service with a new resource bit introduces too many new
complications.
Creating two new services with half the value each of what we'd like to
charge for the entire bundle is also not desirable.
We're wondering if we can use our normal service definitions with the normal
prices and then create a Discount or Promo Service with a negative recurring
amount so that the amount the customer is billed for is correct (and they're
also not as confused) and the value of our seperate services is also not
decreased. So the customer would get both of the normal services, but also
get the discounted service which would adjust the amount they owe correctly
each month.
We tried creating a new service with the negative value (-5.00) and Billmax
appears to accept this, but when it comes time to post the charge it shows
up as $0.00.
Is this something that can be done? Maybe a simple source code change to
whatever bounds checking is in place.
Thanks.
(Also bcc'ing this to support)
