BillMax questions -- Trying to Add New Service Def Results in SQL Error

After installing BillMax, loging in, adding an admin
account, first company and one resource, trying to add
the first Service Definition results in the following
error:

bad SQL: 'SELECT count(*) FROM service WHERE
service.servdef= AND state!=1'

error: You have an error in your SQL syntax near 'AND
state!=1' at line 1

-----------------------

Have tried reinstalling, not sure if there is
something else I need to configure prior to defining
services or if there is an error in Version: 2.0.2
Date: Aug 20 2002.

BillMax is running on RedHat 7.2 using the BillMax
supplied Apache and MySQL.

Any help would be great.
