BillMax questions -- Payment posting per company?

Has anyone tried with the payment posting feature to limit the search
functions on a per company basis?   

This may sound odd, but we've had requests from our people posting
checks that it would help them limit the possibilities. Also, since we
have a few divisions which work independently, it would be better for us
to not allow one division to be able to have access to all customers.
