Re: BillMax questions -- BMUI Check Paytype

From what I see in the defaultregform.tmp, the ACCOUNT_ccnum field is not validated by the VerifyData javascript function.  It seems to me  that this is being validated at the server end.

I don't see any way to stop the validation of the ACCOUNT_ccnum field within the defaultregform.tmp file.

Thanks

I am trying to allow user to pay by check when signing up for service via the BMUI interface.  The problem is that if I select Cash/Check in the paytype field, when the form is submitted, an error is returned indicating that no credit card number or cc_exp fields were filled in.
I need to not require these credit card fields when selecting Cash/Check as the paytype.
In the my table defaults ACCOUNT_ccnum is not required for new or existing accounts.  Also under the ciparms List, the allownoncc is YES as is the newnoncc set to YES.

You need to change the javascript in the *regform.tmp file(s) to not require that these fields are filled in

If you don't have these accounts created in a wait-for-payment state, you could be asking for trouble.
