BillMax questions -- BMUI Check Paytype

I am trying to allow user to pay by check when signing up for service via
the BMUI interface.  The problem is that if I select Cash/Check in
the paytype field, when the form is submitted, an error is returned
indicating that no credit card number or cc_exp fields were filled
in.  I need to not require these credit card fields when selecting
Cash/Check as the paytype.  

In the my table defaults ACCOUNT_ccnum is not required for new or
existing accounts.  Also under the ciparms List, the allownoncc is
YES as is the newnoncc set to YES.

Any help will be appreciated.
