Re: BillMax questions -- BMUI credit card error

I just sent this to Chad but for the benefit of others....

This has nothing to do with the user being added. The user in question is a billmax staff interface user (.e.g. one of your staff or a special system user for tasks such as these.)

You need to go to "Settings", then "Permissions" in the staff interface. Then click on the drop down button and look for a user named "user1". I suspect, you don't have one. If so you can either add a user named "user1" via this page or change the Customer Interface accountwrite parameter to an existing user. Which ever way you go the user used MUST have at least Billing Read and Account Write privileges.

Hi everyone. I'm having a problem when submiting a credit card order through
BMUI. This is the error i get:

A system error occurred. Specifics on the error are shown below:
3000 63.228.184.7+Thu Jul 11 16:09:47 2002+18657+3.0+2.0.0 : Configuration
error: cc processing requires BillMax user (parameter accountwrite) with
"accounting write" priviledges ::: _set_remote_user(): 5683

Just making an educated guess here, i don't have the billmax user set,
right? Any ideas on how i would go about doing this?

Thanks in advanced.
