-BillMax version 2.1 released
-BillMax releases the most significant improvements and enhancements to date.

billing software, today announced the immediate availability of BillMax
version 2.1 for Redhat Linux, FreeBSD, and Solaris.  With BillMax 2.1
service providers bill, provision, and manage thousands of customers
in an efficient, robust, and cost saving manner.  Recent benchmarks on
an Intel based 800 MHZ Athelon, 50 GB hard drive, 256MB memory running
Redhat Linux 9.0 successfully performed nightly processing (does the
daily billing, email notices, suspension of services, etc) for over
500,000 accounts and  600,000 services in 5.5 hours.

Some of the highlights of the new release include:
- Greater control of sending and presentation of statements.
- New and improved reporting tools.
- New usage based billing options.
- New recurring daily durations in addition to existing monthly
  and yearly.
- New authentication features.
- New and expanded documentation for accountants, administrators,
  and programmers.
